Flyer

Task 08 (Technology) we had to produce a DL Flyer advertising one of our cities attractions, and produce a map with directions on how to get there. This was another task I liked doing, though I am a shocking photographer so taking the photos was a challenge, thank you God for Photoshop :) I love the practical work in Graphic Design, written work........well that's another story.

Word composition

 With this assignment we had to find letters within objects to create a word. 

The objects had to relate to the word composition.

Scanner Guide

With this exercise we had to create a scanner guide related to our own scanner and using our own images and graphics. Being a Photoshop junky I had lots of fun adding different elements to help draw the eye to the scanner and make it look a bit fun and funky.

Speach Oulines

In this exercise we had to choose a nursery rhyme, draw a simple illustration that conveyed the rhyme and use the lines of the illustration as text paths. This was to be achieved using Adobe Illustrator.

This was an exercise in using the pen tool in Illustrator.
For the background I played around with the paint brush.

Image Re-sizing

This is my scanner story.

I played around with curves and saturation, then added a mask to bring out the colours of the flowers and some of the element to help tell the story of 'old fashion romance'.

There is so much you can do creatively with a scanner, it's quite exciting.

Graphic Design

Cert. 3

Well it's 2012, and I'm ready to start my Graphic Design course.
It's going to be a full and exciting year of learning and inspiration.
